Becton Dickinson is hiring 45 staff at its Queensbury, New York plant, following its $24 billion acquisition of C. R. Bard last year, Glens Falls Post-Star reported.
The company is looking to employ engineers, supervisors, workers trained in the "continuous improvement" efficiency system and many other positions.
Spokesman Troy Kirkpatrick remarked that the company, which has 740 employees at the former C. R. Bard plant, will have 785 or more staff when it finishes hiring, perhaps ending up "near 800."
The Queensbury site produces medical devices, mostly for the vascular system, according to the news source.
