UK-based startup Béa Fertility has raised $3.2 million in funding, FinSMEs reported Monday.
The round, which brings its total fundraise to date to $4.2 million, was led by Octopus Ventures and joined by JamJar and Forward Partners, with participation from existing investors Calm/Storm and Q Ventures.
The company plans to use the proceeds to release its first at-home fertility treatment to early adopters in the UK.
Béa has developed a clinical-grade at-home fertility kit that allows users to carry out intracervical insemination (ICI) safely at home.
The startup is also launching a pilot which will trial its treatment kit within the NHS. Working with South Fulham Primary Care Network, Béa will be providing direct access to fertility treatment in primary care.
